Models n Maps provides Consulting and Production services to a variety of clients. These services include forensic audits, historical image analysis, support for image and map-based evidence for dispute resolution, legal support, GIS and Remote Sensing services and advice as well as physical topographic models.

Norman has 40 years of experience in Surveying and Mapping, filling both technical and management roles in this space over the years. He has executed or managed projects in almost 30 countries around the globe.

His experience includes Lidar, Photogrammetry, Satellite Remote Sensing and Ground Surveys across a range of market verticals, including mining, utilities, transport, environmental, urban and agriculture, amongst others. His remote sensing experience includes visible, thermal, radar, multispectral and hyperspectral projects.

He is closely involved in the administration of the industry in his roles as President of the Association of Air Survey Companies and as the Aerial Survey representative on the South African Geomatics Council. This council is the statutory body tasked with the regulation of the survey industry in South Africa. He was appointed at the Alternate Chair of this body in 2022.
